    Maintenance Assistant - Nelspruit

    • The role will be based in Nelspruit and report to the Maintenance Manager.

    Minimum Requirements   

    • Matric or any related qualification
    • Must have technical skills and experience of at least 1-2 years.
    • Ability to communicate with English

    Stores Clerk- Production - Benoni

    • This position will report to the Recon Clerk.The successful incumbent will be responsible for Internal procurement controls. Internal departments stock control as directed by the Recon Clerk.Successful candidates will be working shifts, weekends (including Sunday), overtime and public holidays as and when required.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Grade 12.
    • A formal qualification would be an added advantage
    • Drivers Licence will be added advantage
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an FMCG environment

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Manage stock levels to ensure continuous production
    • Ensure that stock is rotated on a First In First Out basis
    • When orders arrive ensure that goods are checked and correspond to the order, delivery note and / or invoice
    • Record the date and time received and sign the relevant paper work.
    • Any short and over deliveries must be recorded on the order, invoice and / or delivery note. The relevant paperwork must be signed by the Storeman and person responsible for deliveries.
    • Any goods returned to Suppliers must be recorded on the Goods Returned Note and signed by the Storeman and person collecting the goods.
    • Make out GNRs from delivery notes / invoices from suppliers. Invoices, delivery notes & orders must be attached immediately on delivery
    • Ensure all raw material delivered accompany a COC
    • Ensuring that all material certificates compare with material identification and then correctly filed.
    • Ensure all incoming raw material are checked and the document are completed and signed before it is filed
    • Ensure all defective raw materials are returned to the suppliers immeadiately and all relevant role players external and internal are informed
    • Ensure raw material that found rejected after the delivery, are communicated and uplifted by the supplier immediately
    • Ensure all rejected raw and packaging material are segregated isolated and kept in the “On Hold” area
    • Controlling raw material issued to production and slicing.
    • Ensuring that all raw material are re-ordered to requirements of the individual stock codes. Controlling the issue of raw material by strict and forceful control to systems
    • Regulating and controlling access to stores by suppliers and employees

    Diesel Mechanic / Talent Pool - Vryheid

    Purpose of the position:

    • The successful incumbent will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a fleet of commercial vehicles and forklifts.

    Minimum Requirements    
    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Qualified Diesel Mechanic (N3 and Trade Test Certificate)
    • 3 years hands-on experience with Man, Toyota and Isuzu Trucks

    Management Accountant - Costing - Centurion

    • The role will be based in Centurion and will report to the Commercial Executive. The role requires an analytical individual with commercial and operations experience. The Management Accountant will assist with the effective running of the costing department and monitor all activities that have a cost implication. Provide commercial support and insights to the Commercial Management of the Speciality operating unit, through effective management of costings and profitability. The Management Accountant will be dealing with key issues in providing support and technical input to the commercial, sales and NPD teams to deliver insightful analysis.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • B.Com Accounting/Management Accounting (non-negotiable)
    • CIMA or CA (SA) essential.
    • Honours Degree Advantageous.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years operational cost and management accounting experience, including commercial costing.
    • Excellent knowledge of FMCG or manufacturing or complex plant experience required.
    • Syspro or SAP experience ideal.

    Duties & Responsibilities    
    Through the costing team deliver on the following:
    Costing Management

    • Ensure costings going to the customer/sales team is accurate.
    • Ensure costing template used is updated, relevant and relevant (i.e accurate recipes, costs).
    • Partner with New Product Develop, Operations and Sales teams to ensure all parties understand the commercial impact of relevant costing.
    • Ensure all costings is in a library where only one version can be accessed by the teams (i.e manage versions).

    BOM Management

    • Maintain product costing system (MACS).
    • Develop, oversee and drive momentum of continuous BOM and routing audit processes to be conducted by Processing and Ops resources.
    • Support initiatives designed to control costs and maximize profitability.
    • Review and provide insight into proposed changes to product costs (as a result of trials or change in specifications) and new product proposals.
    • Maintain the integrity and support proper execution of the NPD approval process for BOM changes/additions.
    • Load new BOM’s for trial codes requested from Master Data.
    • Calculate and implement any approved changes to product costing, clearly outlining the impact of such changes on the cost base and ultimately, profitability.
    • Monitor, review and provide feedback on the actual impact of changes that have been made and new product costing as part of the “post launch” process.
    • Ensure all BOM changes are supported by an audit trial.

    Profitability & Business Analytics, Information and Data Management

    • Drive enhanced business profitability and performance information designed to unlock margin opportunities and influence improved contributions.
    • Identify opportunities for value added reporting to improve the quality and content of reporting and message management.
    • Development of a central business performance and tracking platform, through innovative reporting tools and business analytics.
    • Share relevant data with senior management teams to enable reliable business decision making.

    BOM Audits & Factory Trials

    • Ensure the team is always available for factory trials to enable accurate costings.
    • On a quarterly basis BOM audits will be performed with the broader operations team and needs to be facilitated by this function.
    •  Ensure findings from BOM audits are clearly reported & executed with relevant approval.

    Commercial Insight and Technical Expertise

    • Provide calculations, detailed analysis, presentations and associated recommendations emanating from any and all queries that arise as a result of changes in business operations, the economic climate or potentially might offer more profitable solutions.
    • Provide practical commercial expertise and insights to the Speciality Exec and run with any ad hoc business performance enhancement requests.

    Stock take management

    • Co-ordination and management of monthly stock take processes including variance analysis and reporting.
    • Review tools in preparation for the month stock take.
