    Account Executive - JHB North

    Description

    • The incumbent would be required to generate revenue from new and existing client base. Negotiating group discounts to ensure market share commitment. Forecasting and reporting on a weekly basis on sales figures. Trends and agency movements. Building and strengthening client and agency relationships on a continuous basis.

    Client Liaisons

    Technical Director - JHB North

    Description

    • The incumbent would be responsible for directing and vision mixing live and pre-recorded studio productions and outside broadcast.

    Directing

    • Ensuring equipment is ready and technical checks are completed.

    • Ensure upskilling and development in vision mixing standards and requirements bi-annually.
    • Select required images and ensure a smooth transition between shots which involves ‘cutting’, ‘mixing’ and ‘wiping’.
    • Monitor different media/visual sources, i.e. pictures from several cameras, digital video effects, and graphics and outside broadcast materials.
    • Ensure vision mixing follows correct broadcast standards.
    • Ensure that all the key elements i.e. crawlers and lower thirds units are setup correctly.

    Programme Editor - JHB North

    Description

    • The incumbent is responsible for conceptualizing and producing original and appealing programming for the channel/s as aligned to the editorial direction of the business. This will include the delivery of content that is audience specific, such as packages, segments, specials, and breaking news while proactively managing a broadcast team, liaising with the newsroom and technical operations, facilitating the production of graphics, editing scripts, and ensuring the seamless, error-free delivery of the broadcast that is returns market share.
