    Readvertisement Procument Officer Global Grade 09 - Middelburg

    Key Output

    • Understand category strategies and sourcing plans tsupport their regional execution
    • Ensure a full understanding of regional buying needs
    • Identify future supply and/or demand issues tensure a proactive and effective response
    • Provide intelligence on potential or existing issues
    • Check accuracy of PR data
    • Where contracts are not in place, select suppliers by getting quotations or executing local
    • tender process (with support from Senior Procurement Officers)
    • Raise POs tselected suppliers
    • Track the orders and report on the order status
    • Follow up with suppliers tensure correct delivery
    • Inform relevant Category Manager/Analyst about supplier pricing and delivery issues
    • Understand and keep up with macro-trends and regulations in the region and communicate
    • findings with Category Managers/Analysts
    • Communicate supply and demand issues/changes with relevant Category Managers/Analysts
    • Ensure that managers in local plants get the value agreed tfrom Category Management
    • Link local end users tsourcing actions tensure new supply agreements are developed and
    • implemented appropriately
    • Proactively manage operational risks and challenges stemming from regions

    KPIs:

    • % spend by P2P channel by plant
    • Number of days’ reduction in P2P cycle time by plant
    • Number of deviations in good receipts versus PO
    • End user satisfaction

    Qualification, Experience and Competencies
    Minimum Required Qualification:

    • National Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management (CIPS Level 4) or equivalent

    Minimum Required Experience:

    • 1-3 years’ experience in procurement
    • Preferably experience in multiple geographies/regions
    • Good communication skills, SAP MM Module knowledge
    • Numerical ability, Resilience, Basic negotiating skills
    • Computer literacy

    Minimum Required Competencies :

    Assistant Parts Manager Global Grade11 - Kathu

    Key Output

    • Managing parts excellence in order to obtain Gold measured by CAT
    • Ensures compliance to vendor interface requirements.
    • Exercise judgement on escalation decisions, Manage the effectiveness of the parts operations.
    • Ensure resource capacity planning and load balancing between team members.
    • Building sustainable competence of all team members.
    • Ensures a no-fault audit report for his area of responsibility. (Contamination and Parts Audit)
    • Ensures good corporate governance compliance, Manage related Capex and operation costs.
    • Monitor and trend analysis of lead times and back orders and ensure corrective action is taken on deviation of standards. This will include OTIF.
    • To manage the parts teams that conduct the processes for all parts operations and deliver on all customer parts needs and expectations within the region,
    • Responsible for direct face-to-face interaction with the customer.

    Qualification, Experience and Competencies

    Minimum Requirements: Grade 12.

    • BSc. Industrial Engineering or National Diploma (Industrial Engineering)
    • 8-10 Years relevant experience in managing parts operations
    • Business development skills and knowledge,
    • Track record leading people in a team-based/participative environment.
    • Business and financial acumen, the ability to make sound judgement calls is critical.
    • Relevant experience in Sales, Warehousing and distribution management (Supply chain management) , Inventory
    • Control and 6 Sigma, Excellent SAP skills in SD/MM
