    Land Surveyor

    Key Responsibility Areas

    • Undertake Cadastral Surveys

    • Must be registered as a Sectional Title Practitioner and satisfies the requirements of Section 5(2) of The Sectional Titles Act
    • Valid motor vehicle driving license
    • 5 years post registration experience with the South African Geomatics Council

    Small Plant Operator

    • Remove vegetation such as vines growing onto fencing surrounding high voltage underpass enclosures.
    • Erect road signs and redirect traffic under supervision.
    • Undertake excavation work and operate hand held tools relating to such duties.

    Chief Technologist (Hv Cables)

    Key Responsibility Areas

    • Evaluates and comments on options and alternatives associated with High Voltage cables.
    • Provides technical advice and controls the key performance areas and outputs associated with the Technical Administration Division of the HV cables Branch and assist when equipment failure or abnormal events occur in the network.
    • Co-ordinates and controls tasks/activities associated with controlling personnel performance, productivity and discipline.
    • Implements procedures and systems to monitor and control maintenance work programmes, material requirement, equipment status and execution of tasks.

    Child Minder (Seasonal)

    Key Responsibility Areas

    • Report to the Law Enforcement Office or other location as as directed on commencement and at the end of the shift to sign on and off duty.
    • Report to and remain at the designated beach to which they are deployed for the day unless directed to provide relief at another beach.
    • Erect the shelter/tent at the beginning of the shift and clean and pack away at the end of the day.
    • Keep a detailed register of the names and times of the children were received, who handed them in and the time and details of the persons who the children were reunited with. This information is to be provided to the Law Enforcemant Officers.
    • Take care of and pacify the children in their custody and provide them with refreshments and blankets if necessary.
    • Inform the Law Enforcement of any medical need, shortages in food, blankets or bedding or any overwhelming anxieties.
    • Cook three meals a day for children at the overnight facility and ensure that they have sufficient bedding and clothing which has to be kept clean and washed.
