    Senior Manager Performance Reporting

    Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

    • Maintain a clear understanding of external events which may impact business performance, e.g. competitor industry economics.
    • Provide meaningful budgets, forecasts and scenarios, integrated with core business processes such as strategy and Life of Mine where appropriate
    • Act as an advocate and role model for understanding cost drivers and cost control.
    • Foster best practice processes and sharing within the Performance Reporting team and wider Group
    • Provide valuable performance analysis and reporting to senior stakeholders on a timely basis.
    • Provide integrated business performance management framework to ensure management understanding and regular review and challenge.
    • Ensure key business performance risks, issues and opportunities are highlighted to management.
    • Support delivery of the relevant sustainability activities on a Business Unit level
    • Input into cross-functional integration on sustainability
    • Contribute to building relationships with key stakeholders relevant to the discipline
    • Implement a purpose-driven, high-performing culture that is aligned with the company values, is inclusive and promotes diversity, supports engagement and fosters continuous improvement to work processes
    • Set clear and consistent expectations, encourage individuals and teams to challenge the status quo and strive for improvements; embed expectations through Team+ tool
    • Ensure individuals and team have the knowledge, skills, authorities and resources to deliver against expectations and accountability (time, people and budget)

    Qualifications:

    • BCom Accounting or relevant financial degree/qualification
    • CA or CIMA qualification beneficial

    Experience:

    • Proven experience in a senior commercial/financial analysis and management role in a large mining/resources company
    • Analysis and benchmarking of financial/business data in a mining/heavy industry environment

    Job Description:

    Quality security services

    Application of security procedures

    • Follow work instructions
    • Ensure proper understanding of the required actions
    • Accurately complete role administration requirements
    • Report to Protection Services Officer when task is completed
    • Identify and report all irregularities to Assistant Protection Services Officers
    • Apply recognized work, legislative and security standards
    • Ensure that security tasks are completed to required quality standards
    • Conduct  allocated patrols or checkpoint duties including adhoc security assignment such as searches and roadblocks
    • Assist with crowd management during community unrest or other emergency situations
    • Conduct dog handing activities where applicable
    • Competent to drive security vehicle when there is a need
    • Gather information that could assist with risk management
    • Take appropriate action on observation or risk situation.
    • Respond to security alarms and take appropriate action
    • Enforce and monitor access controls
    • Take appropriate action when a security issue is observed
    • Conduct surveillance activities to support investigation when required
    • Effective use of allocated equipment such as radios and telephones
    • Effective tow way communications with team members and visitors
    • Promote security awareness by reminding team members to follow work procedures and identifying problems with work practices
    • Maintains facilities, equipment and personal image up to a high standard of presentation

    • Attend disciplinary enquiries as a witness/compliant

    This role is at B5 level reporting to the Protection Services Officers

    Qualifications:

    • Grade 12 
    • Handle of Shotgun for Business Purposes
    • Armed response course
    • Registered with the PSIRA on grade C
    • Valid driver’s license code 08/10/14 and Code 8 Armoured Vehicle driving course

    Pre-Requisite

    • Psychometric Assessment for firearms
    • Firearm Competency
    • No criminal record
    • Pass polygraph test

    Experience

    • 2 years’ experience in Security environment or equivalent
    • Supervisory experience advantageous

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Computer literacy
    • Counter Industrial Action practical
    • Communications in English (spoken, written and reading)
    • Writing of statements and opening of a case docket
    • Handling of various emergency situation
    • Good working relations

    Mobile Crane Operator (Postmasburg)

    Purpose

    • Safely operate and manoeuvre mobile cranes to lift, move, and position heavy loads within mining sites.

    The Work: Key Outputs and Accountabilities
    Safety, Health and Environment

    • Adhere to all health and safety practices requirements and promote good housekeeping to ensure compliance and an environment where team members can deliver their outputs within a controlled risk environment
    • Active participation in safety initiatives, i.e. SLAM, HPH
    • Conduct the required safety interventions before undertaking any tasks
    • Ensure a clear working area, legibility and visibility of safety signs and attend to spillage material to prevent contamination and pollution; keep a record of actions taken.
    • Active participation in SLAMs, HPHs, relevant Risk Assessments and close-out of Safety Actions.
    • Performance and Delivery

    Equipment and Load Handling:

    • Collaborate with the relevant team to coordinate lifting and positioning activities.
    • Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Conduct pre-operational checks on the crane to ensure it is in proper working condition.
    • Navigate the crane through the mining site, considering terrain, obstacles, and other site-specific conditions.
    • Coordinate with spotters and ground crews to ensure safe crane movements and maintain effective communication using hand signals, radio, or other means.
    • Operate mobile cranes to lift and move heavy materials, machinery, and equipment at mining sites.

      • Lift, lower, and swing loads using the crane's hoisting mechanisms.
      • Rig loads properly to ensure stability and safety during lifting operations.

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12/N3 Technical

    • 2 -3 years’ relevant mobile crane experience
