    Project Administrator - Isando

    Description

    Perform the administrative function for the Engineering department and manage the purchase, budget and control of spares, materials and stock.

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

    • Grade 12
    • Business Administration Learnership/ equivalent qualification
    • Project Administration qualification

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

    • 3 years’ experience in project administration and purchasing
    • 3 years’ experience with CAPEX projects/budgets
    • 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing plant with advanced documentation systems and procedures
    • Project management experience 

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Consolidate and generate Energy reports, standby & callout reports  from information received from different sites
    • Store, track and supply relevant information from the different sites
    • Create vendor applications
    • Request for quotations from suppliers
    • Purchase order communication with relevant stakeholders
    • Follow up on open orders
    • Ensure that the relevant invoices are signed and processed
    • Ensure all CAPEX projects have the necessary documents and that the files are maintained
    • Record meeting minutes and action points
    • Communicate actions with relevant responsible people
    • Assist with the development and documenting of AFGRI-specific standards and other document-related requirements as and when needed
    • Advise your supervisor of observations made regarding potential hazards, breach of safety regulations with possible safety risks
    • Report all near misses
    • Comply with all requirements for Occupational Health and Safety

    TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES

    • Basic understanding of financials
    • Basic understanding of Project processes
    • Strong working knowledge of document control
    • Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel and others)
    • Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

    Branch Manager - Balfour

    Description

    Accountable for the profitable management of all divisions of a Retail branch within the constraints ofAFGRIGroup strategies and policies.

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • Grade 12
    • Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture / Business / Finance / Management will be an advantage

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • 3– 5 years related management experience in Agri trade environment.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Provide and maintain sound customer relations with internal and external clients (marketing).
    • Maintain control of critical administrative procedures and processes to ensure compliance with relevant policies and legislative requirements (loss control).
    • Ensure a well-managed inventory system.
    • Manage the branch operations for business optimisation according to the department's business plan.
    • Manage the branch finances.
    • Provide leadership and support to all employees to ensure a motivated and competent staff complement.

    TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES          

    • Computer literacy (MS Office)
    • Farming experience or knowledge of farming activities
    • Knowledge of John Deere products will be an advantage
    • Knowledge of other AFGRI product agencies

    Department Head Admin (Retail) - Balfour

    Description

    Ensure all administrative processes are updated and followed as per requirements.

    REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

    • Grade 12

    REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

    • 3 years relevant administrative experience

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

    • Handle all employee-related matters and correspondence for the branch.
    • Check all documents received and direct them to the relevant working area.
    • Oversee stock counting and investigate stock variances
    • Run the price analysis report.
    • Collect and process petty cash where applicable.
    • Handle the cash control account and reconcile cash and make bank deposits.
    • Report on all abnormal administrative situations.
    • Ensure all filing is done timeously.
    • Ensure compliance with the AFGRI control matrix (AFGRI policies and procedures).
    • Assist the Branch Manager with administrative functions during his/her absence.
    • Complete IOD reports.
