    Pharmacy Manager

    Job Objectives

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree/ equivalent qualification.

    Experience

    Essential

    • Experience in managing staff.
    • Experience working in a retail pharmacy environment.

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Knowledge of Retail operations.
    • Knowledge of dispensing systems and ordering systems.
    • Knowledgeable with regard to pharmacy legislation.
    • Knowledge of financial management principles and systems.
    • Computer literacy – MS Office skills.
    • Unisolv experience.
    • Marconi experience (advantageous).
    • Effective conflict management skills.

    ECommerce Merchandising Specialist

    Job Objectives

    • Implement ecommerce Non Foods sales strategies based on inventory, marketing calendar, key launches and overall merchandising guidelines and partner with all relevant teams to ensure all timelines and launch dates are met.  
    • Continuously think of effective ways to drive sales. 
    • Analyze sales and product-level data and provide performance reports to key stakeholders and team, to ensure relevant and informed decisions are made regarding product sales and implementing best initiatives to increase revenue. 
    • Continuously monitor and report masterdata errors that effects sales output. 
    • Delivering monthly cross channel performance reports with actionable insights. 
    • Curating, selecting, and adding of products with buyer guidance to ensure that offerings are relevant and aligned with the brands positioning. 
    • Develop and promote new products to boost engagement and sales.
    • Use data analysis and consumer insights to guide buyers on promotional activities. 
    • Develop and execute promotions with effective campaigns to drive sales increases. 
    • Collect data and analyze sales to understand site analytics and trends. This information will be used to develop future strategies. 

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Marketing, Business or related field - (essential). 

    Experience

    • +2 years of experience in an ecommerce, retail or related business field. 
    • Proven experience in a similar role within a retail or merchandising function of an ecommerce retailer  

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Proficient with MS Office 365 to manage communications and other tasks relating to the function - (essential).

    Area Coordinator

    Job Objectives

    Implementation and monitoring of campaigns and initiatives

    • e.g., courier, baby clinics, Xtra Savings cards, etc.

    Applying legislative compliance and service good pharmacy practice 

    • Pharmacy inspections by the South African Pharmacy Council.
    • Maintenance of Continued Professional Development (CPDs) of pharmacists.
    • Dealing with dispensing errors and handling patient complaints and escalations as required/ escalating matters to the Regional Manager as required.

    Completing Checklists and offering support to healthcare products and services

    • e.g., Flu vaccinations, glucose, blood pressure, etc.

    Conduct i-Comply Audits

    • Process against requirements on tablets with a set of audit processes to conduct.

    Script Tracking 

    • Reviewing the file in store, establishing that all scripts have been processed, dispensed, and payment received or claimed.

    Stock Management

    • Reviewing and publishing stock takes including training and supporting any specific stock take activity.
    • Conducting monthly cycle counts: monitoring, reviewing, investigating, and correcting.
    • Capturing and investigating stock adjustments.
    • Validating stock levels and ordering accordingly.
    • Validating stock received and ensuring that all invoices are captured and filed.
    • Transferring and returning of stock to Transpharm and other branches via IBT and emergency deliveries.

    Cash and banking

    • Reviewing of cash and banking files.
    • Check that all cash is balancing and timeously deposited.

    Store Maintenance

    • Get the necessary approval for repairs and ensure that the repair gets actioned such as the fixing of the air conditioning units, lights, etc.
    • Obtaining quotes and service providers for each area.

    Training on systems

    • Unisolv, Orderwise, WFM, SOPs, Intern Training, Pharmacist Assistant Training, etc.

    Qualifications

    Essential

    • Registered as a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant with the South African Pharmacy Council
    • Valid Code 8 driver's license -must be able to operate a manual-driven car

    Experience

    Essential

    • 2+ years of experience working in a retail pharmacy.

    CSI Specialist

    Job Objectives

    • Providing support through the successful coordination, administration, and delivery of projects and programmes providing expertise on areas of focus within the allocated portfolios or initiatives (including ad hoc projects etc. as required). 
    • Ensure compliance with internal governance, government regulations and other frameworks that the Group subscribes to. 
    • Remain informed of functional Shoprite-related sustainability topics, trends, and risks to proactively support in identifying and developing activities that enhance the CSI reach, stakeholder engagement and other goals assigned to specific portfolios. 
    • Provide assistance to the business and support multi-disciplinary teams to deliver CSI programmes, projects, and initiatives within the assigned areas of focus and peripheral activities and opportunities. 
    • Provide regular, clear, and concise visibility on operational execution and portfolio performance at local and national level to inspire and improve increased reach and success of portfolio outcomes. 
    • Provide input to the reporting on the effectiveness of CSI programmes, projects, and initiatives through the submission of periodic reports and routine analysis of information and data. Conduct and capture project lessons learnt identifying project wins and opportunities for improvement. 
    • Apply sustainability tools, procedures, and work instructions, where necessary, to ensure that the Group remains compliant with regulations, internal policies, and best practices. 
    • Assist all financial activities related to the portfolio, working with various stakeholders to ensure that strong governance is maintained around stock levels, allocations, grants, and donations.  Ensure adequate controls, financial processes and assurances are applied with traceable audit trails. 
    • Provide the necessary support in terms of decision-making and approvals to adhere to financial and other benefits allocated within the approved mandate. 
    • Accountable for budgetary allocations and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis and adjust activities on the ground to meet the new requirements. 
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external (suppliers, local government, NGO's, etc.) stakeholders. 

    Qualifications

    • Degree in Business Sciences, Development Studies, Project Management or equivalent – (Highly beneficial). 

    Experience

    • +1 years' experience in a Corporate Social Investment or equivalent role with demonstrable experience executing, coordinating and providing administrative sustainability projects as derived from a Group sustainability strategy and framework - (essential). 
    • Relevant knowledge and practical experience in an operational project execution context of one or more of the portfolios focus areas: Community food gardens or mobile soup kitchens and surplus food donations or early childhood development centres for the Shoprite Group including an understanding of the communities/consumers and beneficiaries where the Group trades - (essential).
    • Applying governance and assurance within the CSI context – as oversight and operational execution.  
    • Required experience in conducting research surveys, monitoring and monitoring CSI programmes 

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Proficient in Microsoft office and SAP, with strong proficiency in excel
