Job Purpose
The Department of Transport and Public Works, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual manage transport administration and licensing fees collection and disbursement processes with regard to vehicle registration and licence fees, collection of miscellaneous fees in terms of national road traffic legislation, pay over of fees to the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC), the Driving Licence Card Account (DLCA) as well as the Road Traffic Infringement Agency (RTIA). This post is stationed in Cape Town.
Minimum Requirements
An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher); A minimum of 3 years supervisory level experience; A valid Code B (08) driving licence.

Recommendation
Experience in the following: Client Services; Budget and Financial Management; Human Resource Management; Knowledge of Road Traffic legislation; Willingness to regularly travel as required.

Analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making; Proven computer literacy (Ms Office suite) with advanced proficiency in MS Excel; Planning, organising; Decision making; Communication (Verbal and written); Client service orientated; Budget and Financial management; Human Resource Management.
