    Filter Technician Assistants

    Job description

    We are looking for two Filter Technician Assistants to work at our customer site. This is great opportunity to be exposed to different activities at site and work in a direct customer interface in a global company.

    As Filter Technician Assistants, You Will

    • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and repairs filters
    • Perform all work in a planned and organized manner, follow instructions and plans, and complete work safely and on schedule
    • Perform housekeeping duties of the maintenance area
    • Ensure that work performed meets all statutory requirements and company standards
    • In cooperation with the other maintenance personnel ensure the optimization of plant performance and continuous development of site maintenance
    • Support initiatives to optimize existing systems, processes, practices and equipment to improve the overall performance of the site
    • Ensure a safe work environment and compliance to all HSEQ regulations and standards during the work and ensure compliance with statutory and other regulations as are required by law
    • Continually review and where necessary suggest changes that will improve the department occupational health, safety, quality and efficiency performance
    • Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner
    • Maintain and use equipment as designed
    • Adherence to Company procedures
    • Other duties as directed by line manager

    To succeed, you will need:

    • 3 to 5 years relevant experience. Experience on the Larox filter is essential
    • Relevant trade certificate
    • Knowledge of procedures for routine inspection and maintenance
    • Basic IT skills
    • English skills are a benefit
    • Sound knowledge of Filter mining equipment.
    • Sound knowledge of QA processes.
    • Preferable forklift plus basis welding and gas cutting competency
    • To be willing to work shifts and overtime when required
    • Ability to follow instructions and guidelines and use plant operating, maintenance and safety manuals
    • Ability to work as part of a team
    • High Quality of work
    • Ability to work independently
    • Detail orientation

    Customer Support Engineer

    Job description

    We are looking for Customer Support Engineers to work at our customer sites. This is a great opportunity to be close to the customer and be exposed to different activities at Site.

    As Customer Support Engineer, You Will

    • Deliver - or organize delivery of - Technical Services to selected customer sites
    • Act as Site Account Manager for the agreed sites
    • Manage all technical service activities and assure their competences in CSO for the agreed sites in cooperation with Customer Support Technicians and other Service Center resources
    • Participate in technical inspections and provide recommendations at site
    • Be highly involved in customer problem-solving and customer training providing operation and maintenance instructions to customers
    • Perform inspection contract visits at site
    • Perform preventive maintenance work at site
    • Provide local installation & start-up support (if applicable)
    • Promote technical services and spare parts, ideally based on contracts
    • Assure that the roles of Customer Support Engineers are understood in local Market Area

    To succeed, you will need:

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance, rebuilding and installations on Mills
    • Preferably Fitter Qualification
    • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
    • To be ready to travel extensively
    • Knowledge of Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Have a valid passport and working permit in South Africa
