    Document Controller With SHE Skills

    Must have high level of communication skills in a clear and concise manner (Email, Telephonic and Interpersonal), high level of English writing skills (grammar, spelling and punctuation skills), proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, and Outlook). Must also have the ability to plan, coordinate and execute within timeframes and with attention to detail. Position is based fulltime at our Samrand offices.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Matric/Grade 12 (compulsory)
    • Certification in Document Writing or similar qualification
    • Certification in English and Communications
    • Tech-savvy, advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, and imaging software
    • Superior technical writing skills with a high attention to proper grammatical rules and guidelines
    • Document and version control concepts and best practices
    • Concrete understanding and knowledge in SHE knowledge
    • Experience with SharePoint

    Role Description:

    • Creating updating, editing and formatting documents (not limited to policies, manuals, procedures, work instructions, training guidelines, reports etc.) according to the SHEQ requirement.
    • Filing and recording of documents on Network drives, and hard copies where applicable.
    • Coordinating SHEQ administrative operations (not limited to audits - internal and external), non-conformance reports, registers etc.
    • Coordinating and communicating relevant SHE matters when required to the SHE Administrator
    • Assisting with coordinating meetings and minutes
    • Assisting with monthly SHEQ, Exco and Business management review reporting

    Managing of Documents:

    • Research, write, edit, and proofread a wide range of documents
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy
    • Organize and structure documented content in a logical and coherent manner
    • Ensure that documents comply with Datacentrix standards and formatting guidelines
    • Review and revise existing documents for continuous improvements ensuring accuracy and completeness
    • Transfer of documents to different templates

    Filing and Recording:

    • Managing latest documents on Sharedrive, ensuring that all SHE folders on Sharedrive are setup in a logical format
    • Verifying latest documents on SharePoint with correct synopsis and metadata

    Coordinating:

    • SHE awareness campaigns
    • SHE inspections, records, and accuracy
    • SHE incidents and accidents records and reports
    • SHE Risk registers and objectives
    • SHE Monthly meetings and minutes
    • SHE Attendance registers
    • SHE Newsflash

    Communicating:

    • Creating Awareness campaigns
    • Creating Newsflash
    • Creating lessons learned from incidents and accidents

    Reporting:

    Functional Consultant (Enterprise Solution Design) - Midrand / Cape Town

    Minimum Requirements:

    •  Matric or Grade 12 Essential

    MES Engineer (PLC Engineer) - Brits

    Job Purpose

    Datacentrix MTS's client in the Manufacturing industry is looking for a Junior to Intermediate PLC Engineer/MES Engineer for a contract period of 3 months to be based at their plant in Brits. The successful candidate would need to ensure PLC, MES, Wonderware, Shopware Services Uptime & BOSS System availability in the Brits Manufacturing Plant.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Self-responsibility with regards to time and attendance and quality.
    • Review clients’ proposals in terms of control systems engineering and design.
    • Evaluate vendor proposals for clarification.
    • Provide technical input for control system functional specifications.
    • Design, development, and commissioning of all PLC and SCADA software elements.
    • Assist in planning and reviewing of technical work and maintaining project schedules.
    • Develop manuals.
    • Facilitate basic training of operators
    • Offer technical support on control system equipment.
    • Work closely with other Discipline Managers/Project Managers/ Engineering Managers

    Requirements

    • Minimum 3-5 years plant experience in manufacturing industry
