    Software Development Manager -

    Purpose Statement

    • To provide strategic technical direction and manage multiple technical teams responsible for the technical delivery of the full product lifecycle; all product features and support and maintenance related tasks in respect of the product
    • Oversee the ongoing drive to increase efficiency, optimisation, innovation and people development in these environments.

    Experience
    Minimum:

    • At least 5 years’ experience in software development management

    Experience of:

    • leading and working in an agile development environment crafting roadmaps
    • managing a budget
    • using technical skills to support and guide a technical teamto establish priorities and successfully manage deliverables
    • utilizing communication and relationship management skills to engage with stakeholders using leadership to influence in other areas.

    Delivery Lead: Data and Analytics

    Purpose Statement

    • To support the vision of becoming a data driven organisation by delivering Data and Analytics products which form the ‘engine’ that manages and processes data for the organisation.
    • To act as competency lead for the Data Engineering function in the Client Value product line.

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • 5+  years data warehousing experience at product development level Or
    • 3 - 5 years’ experience in Data Architecture

    Analyst: DevOps (App)

    Purpose Statement

    • Analyse, and understand other Capitec teams’ (product development teams) deployment processes to identify automation improvements to the Software Development Life Cycle. 
    • To advise and assist in other Capitec teams’ ways of working through implementation of automation for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

    Technical Support Engineer

    Purpose Statement

    • To provide end-user technology support to all users (clients) at Campus, Branches, Regional Offices and roaming users of Capitec Bank (responsible for all geographic regions). 
    • To assume responsibility for the repairs of faulty equipment and logging of incidents with vendors / suppliers, and propose solutions to prevent incidents from re-occurring.

    Qualifications

    • A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology - Technical Support (AWS, A+, N+)
    • Certification in MCP/MCITP for current Microsoft supported versions is strongly preferred 
    • A Bachelors degree in Information Technology- Technical support or Information Technology - Computer Science is strongly preferred
