    E-Learning Instructional Developer (Onsite)

    Objective:

    The job incumbent will facilitate implementation and coordination of the Aspen LMS (Learning Management System), providing quality-driven innovative online and blended online learning opportunities, in line with best practice in standards-based blended and online curriculum development and online teaching. They will design and develop instructional material, coordinates, writes and edits educational content for web-based training.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with the execution of the Aspen eLearning strategy and work with SME’s in developing content and program delivery methodology
    • Maintain accurate user data in the company Learning Management System through the acquisition of monthly HR reports in excel format, and converting them into batch-upload files
    • Update LMS user groups and data, by activating and deactivating users based on monthly termination, new-hire, and promotion reports
    • Maintain and update LMS user accounts per standard user profile template, and maintain the Aspen LMS and source files
    • Audit user data for accuracy and proactively corrects errors. Proactively alert management to issues or problems
    • Designs, develops, and deploys instructional material, coordinates, writes and edits educational content for web-based training based on business needs
    • Interacts with SMEs in planning and scoping requirements for course content
    • Participates in beta deliveries of new courses
    • Contributes to storyboarding, authoring, and development of e-learning content and blended learning solutions
    • Participates in the needs assessment, design and development of product and role specific curriculum road maps and high-level designs
    • Organize and obtain training procedure manuals, guides and course materials such as handouts and visual materials
    • Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures
    • Works closely with internal employees to implement and maintain web-based training.
    • Provides reporting to management on web-based training progression and completion, student usage, and instructor-led training completions.
    • Provides technical support for the organization or educational institution. Implements and evaluates instruction for adult learners.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • Matric/Grade 12
    • Degree in training, education, course facilitation or related web and content management
    • Experience in lieu of educational requirement will be considered
    • Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in the administration of eLearning Management Systems
    • Two or more years solid experience in a functional training role with emphasis on technology and business process training development and design.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint…), particularly as used in the development of instructional content.
    • Familiarity with eLearning design software products (Storyline Articulate, Captivate, etc)
    • Experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs, web-based training development, and asynchronous learning content.
    • Effective time management skills
    • Ability to multi-task with concurrent projects
    • Tailors communication effectively to work with diverse populations at all levels internal and external to the organization, verbally and in writing
    • Works effectively in team environments

    Brand Manager - Consumer (Traditional Medicine, Eye Care & Anti-inflammatory - Hybrid)

    Description

    OBJECTIVE: Drive sustainable, profitable growth of the product portfolios/ therapeutic categories with appropriate strategic direction, brand stewardship, tactical implementation and commercial acumen.

    MAIN DUTIES:

    • The position will also include line management, with the management and development of Junior Brand Manager & Marketing Graduate
    • Develop Traditional Medicine (Heritage brands e.g. Lennon Dutch Medicines), Eye Care & Anti-inflammatory portfolio/brand strategy for sustainable business growth and profitability
    • Anticipate future trends in Traditional Medicine, Eye Care & Anti-inflammatory usage and the market environment
    • Develop promotional and advertising strategies that grow brand market shares against competitors in all channels (pharmacy, retail, wholesale and informal trade)
    • Analysis of the market, shopper and consumer behaviours and development of insights that are applied to develop robust brand plans
    • Provide creative direction for brand/ portfolios strategies and tactics whilst managing Agency outcomes
    • Implementation, monitoring and measurement of the success of the developed strategies and to ensure that they are flexible to adapt to a dynamic environment
    • Successful implementation and monitoring of the roll out of the above with the required measurements in place for successful outcomes
    • Enthusiastically communicate plans and results with the business leadership and relevant teams within the business at all times
    • Drive, lead and take accountability for the budgeting process, control of A&P expenditure and achievement of financial targets
    • Develop and implement pricing strategies that ensure healthy profit margins and competitive advantage for the Traditional Medicine, Eye Care & Anti-inflammatory brands.
    • Continuously communicate with and support the sales teams with high levels of integrity and urgency to help them achieve sales targets
    • Ability to manage the cross functional networks and channel resources for the portfolio to drive profitable growth with the required and shared accountability to achieve business targets
    • Understand, challenge and implement the regulatory requirements to develop and implement strategies and tactics that drive brand growth
    • Forecasting accuracy and stock management which entails minimizing stock write-off costs and returns
    • Managing wholesalers’ stock holding and backorders.
    • Using insights acquired both internally and externally to accurately assess market potential for new product introductions and/or renovations of existing products
    • Managing and taking the lead/accountability in driving the New Product Launch process together with the relevant stakeholders like NPL, Demand Planning, Regulatory Affairs, Medical and others
    • Lead and utilise both internal and external conferences, congresses to position Traditional Medicine, Eye Care & Vitamins brands as foremost in the target audience’s minds
    • Sense of urgency in resolution of customer queries

    Requirements

    • Sound financial acumen
    • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
    • Ability to work on Qlikview models is advantageous
