WS 64/23 Assistant Professional Officer at City of Cape Town

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or B. Tech degree or National Diploma in Information science and/or systems analysis
• At least 1 year’s relevant experience in systems analysis or information management
• Relevant experience with specialist water and sanitation software or spatial information systems (GIS) as applied to the water and sanitation field will be an advantage
• Valid driver’s licence Code 8

Key Performance Areas

• Assists with Managing and enhancing the Water and Sanitation Department’s Information Management Systems
• Assists with data analysis, information summary compilation and reporting/presentation thereof
• Assists with Project Management for development of new or updated Information Management Systems, software licensing and Software Maintenance Agreements (SMAs)
• Assists with drafting tenders and supply chain management processes
• Assists with maintenance and coordination of the department’s information systems
