Responsibilities

• Provide adequate workshop store facility and stock levels for efficient maintenance and productivity
• Supervise and maintain control of the workshops, stores and maintenance activities
• Direct, assist, supervise and guide artisans with daily maintenance and construction activities
• Meet regularly with employees, analyze and solve problems, maintain a healthy service to other departments
• Ensure proper preventative planned and opportune maintenance is done on machinery and equipment

Requirements

• Grade 12
• N4 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
• Mechanical Trade Test Certificate
• 10 - 15 Years experience in an underground winder mining environment
