Job Description

Responsible for checking correctness and reconciliating the daily transactions between two financial systems. Balancing of inventory records on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Grade 12/ NQF4
• Relevant tertiary financial qualification
• Previous experience in similar position would be an advantage
• Ability to function independently within a team context and accept responsibility
• Strong analytical & interpersonal skills
• Computer literate in the MS Office package with the ability to work on EXCEL on an intermediate level (Formulas/ VLOOKUP etc.)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Accurately compare and reconciliate information/ data between two financial systems on a daily basis
• Rectify discrepancies between the two systems
• Reconciliate and report on stock balances and deviations on the internal system
• Solving possible errors that was picked up during fault-finding
• Review control reports on a daily basis and report on deviations and develop new reports as necessary
• Continuously liaise with internal and external departments to resolve discrepancies picked up on control reports
• Assist with external queries regarding transactions, stock movements and deviations on accounts
• Any other ad hoc financial function to assist the team
