Technical Sales Consultant - Cape Town at Saint-Gobain

• Assist in driving company strategic sales and marketing objectives.
• Achieve sales budgets through effective strategic action involving customer relations, effective communication, and product strategies.
• Effectively operate and control the sales territory/segment and customer portfolio.
• Market the company’s product and services to the allocated customers/segment according to company strategic imperatives and with the Sales Manager’s guidance.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU ?

• The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years’ experience in the Construction industry, preferably in technical selling and/or site management.
• Having a recognized business qualification such as QS, Civil Engineering, Architectural, or Construction Management is mandatory for this role. Also, a valid driver’s licence.
• This role calls for a person who is a professional in selling and negotiating, has great communication and customer service skills and understands construction/site project hierarchies and relationships.
• Teamwork is essential for this role.
• To ensure workloads are managed effectively, the candidate should have good planning and organizational skills and establish, build, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (internally and externally).
