Job Description

Our school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Development (ECD) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, a strong understanding of child development principles, and a commitment to creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children ages 2-5 years old.
• Create a safe and supportive classroom environment where children can learn and grow.
• Design and implement lesson plans that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children’s individual needs and development.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and school administrators.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, and events as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Relevant teaching certification or licensure.
• Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and community members.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• Ability to adapt curriculum and instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
