PURPOSE:

• IT Solutions Specialist professional is required to specialize in designing and implementing technology solutions to address specific business needs or challenges. Additionally work closely with clients or internal stakeholders to understand their requirements, evaluate existing systems and processes, and develop customized IT solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance. IT Solutions Specialist combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of business requirements to design and implement effective technology solutions.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

•  Collaborate with clients or internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, goals, and challenges.
•  Analyse existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend technology solutions.
•  Design and architect technology solutions that align with business objectives, considering scalability, performance, security, and integration factors.
•  Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, software applications, and tools to meet solution requirements.
•  Customize, configure, and integrate software applications or develop new ones to meet specific needs.
•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and deploy technology solutions, including developers, engineers, and project managers.
•  Ensure solution quality and performance through thorough testing, including system testing and user acceptance testing.
•  Provide training and support to end-users during the implementation phase and post-implementation to ensure successful user adoption.
•  Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and propose enhancements or updates as needed.
•  Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to IT solutions.
•  Provide guidance and technical expertise to other team members and stakeholders regarding IT solutions and their implementation.
•  Adoption and change management

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

•  Relevant (240 credit) degree and /or certifications in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
•  3-5yrs experience in IT solution design, implementation, and deployment
•  Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, programming languages, and database systems
•  Proficiency in evaluating, selecting, and integrating software applications, platforms, and tools.
•  Experience in solution architecture, considering scalability, performance, security, and integration requirements.
•  Project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, resources, and budgets.
•  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address business challenges.
•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
•  Adoption and change management skills with technical abilities would be advantageous.
