    Sourcing and Procurement Consultant

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and Implement Cost Optimization Strategies: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements within the sourcing and procurement processes. Develop and execute strategies to achieve cost-saving goals.
    • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions1.
    • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends. Evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability1.
    • Project Management: Lead and manage cost optimization projects from inception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities. Provide regular reports on cost optimization progress and outcomes2.
    • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to procurement costs and supplier performance1.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments and stakeholders to implement cost-saving measures and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in sourcing and procurement. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost efficiency.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is a plus.
    • Experience: Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or cost optimization. Experience in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
    • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
    • Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently. Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
