Purpose Statement
To provide strategic, tactical and technical direction to multiple technical teams in order to enable the function to achieve the Finance, EAM and Logistics strategy.
To manage the Finance, EAM & Logistics technical and implementation teams in the delivery of solutions (quality and on-time configuration, analysis and solution development and support) aligned to business needs, requirements and standards
To drive efficiency, optimisation, innovation and people development across the technology teams.
Qualifications (Minimum)
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Information Technology - Computer Science
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
Honours Degree in Commerce or Information Technology - Computer Science
Experience
Minimum
Minimum 2 years in a supervisory capacity of an SAP -COE, -Support or -Functional team/s
Experience in leading implementations using the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for an SAP team
Experience in IT including experience in supporting an ERP solution
Experience in managing medium to large scale projects
Building and maintaining relationships across all levels of the organisation
Experience in leading an ERP function of 5+ staff members
Ideal
5 – 8 Years’ experience in managing a SAP Functional or Systems Analyst team
SAP - Finance and/or - Logistics Certification
Experienced in managing demand vs supply from
Knowledge

Advanced understanding of
SAP ECC / S4/HANA, integration practices, system development and technical support
SAP (Finance, EAM & Logistics)
Advanced knowledge on integration practices and technical support
IT systems development processes (SDLC)
Testing practices and Resource scheduling
In-depth understanding of the Agile methodology

SAP ERP Solution, Jira Core, Confluence
ITIL Principles and the application thereof
Best practices for Quality Assurance (QA)
SAP Customer Centre of Excellence (CCOE) principles
