    Social Media Manager

    About the job

    We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join our public relations team. As a Social Media Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing Social Media campaigns for a major TV client and the agency

     

    • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy

    • Define most important social media KPIs

    • Produce, manage and oversee social media content

    • Community management

    • Develop briefs and manage designers.

    • Measure the success of every social media campaign

    • Use digital marketing tools such as Sprout, Facebook Business, LinkedIn campaign manager

    • Stay up to date with latest social media best practices and technologies

    • Track and analyze SEO in order to provide effective solutions for content optimization

    • Network with industry professionals and influencers via social media

    • Account and client management

    • Work closely with PR teams to develop integrated communication strategies

     

    Requirements

    • 5 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role

    • Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions

    • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices

    • Exceptional writer and creative content production skills.

    • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics

    • Experience in Google Ads and the Google suite of analytics tools

    • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research

    • Good understanding of social media KPIs

    • Familiarity with web design and publishing

    • Excellent multitasking skills

    • Great leadership skills

    • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

    • Team player

    • Good time-management skills

    • Great interpersonal, presentation and communication skills

    • Honours degree in Journalism, communication, marketing or similar field
