• Ensure awareness and adherence to L.R.A., B.C.E.A. and all other related labor legislation.
• Oversee and assist with disciplinary process (counseling, meetings & enquiries)
• Build and manage relationship with Employee Representative Group and any other Union(s) relationship according to legislation.
• Record keeping to be up to date on tracking systems (warnings etc.)
• Keep abreast of IR policy development.
• Supervising the day-to-day activities of the HR information systems
• Attending Operational meetings as required from HR
• Represent and negotiate for the company at CCMA, Union meetings.
• Oversee full function recruitment; including job descriptions, advertising, interviews, assessments, screening, and placements.
• Leave and timekeeping, including monitoring biometrics.
• Collaborate with trade union representatives to negotiate and administer collective bargaining agreements
• Collaborate with payroll and finance departments to ensure accurate and timely payment of wages

Minimum Requirements

• Matric/Grade 12
• National Diploma in Human Resources Management
• Minimum of 7 years experience in the mining environment
• Must be well-organised and have excellent time-management skills.
• Be a successful negotiator and influencer.
• Analyse information quickly with good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communicator to all levels of personnel in the company.
