    Service Technician - Pretoria

    Job Context    

    • SERVEST TECHNICAL A DIVISION OF SERVEST (PTY) LTD  HAS A VACANCY FOR A SERVICE TECHNICIAN – GAUTENG, REPORTING TO TECHNICAL MANAGER. MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE PARKING INDUSTRY.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Clear criminal record;
    • SA citizen;
    • Must have valid drivers license;
    • Must Live in the Pretoria area;
    • Must have very strong IT skills; MCSE, A+, VOIP, VMWARE  and networking
    • Must have worked in the Parking industry for at least 5 years;
    • Must have an understanding of electro mechanical devices;
    • Must have an understanding of basic electronics and networking;
    • Will be required to be calm under pressure/ must be hard working and respect and ahead to deadline imposed either internally or externally;
    • Must have a keen problem solving ability and must be able to think on their feet;
    • Must have experience in working with other people in a Group;
    • Must be able to approach problems in a rational and logical manner;

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Provide technical support for customers during our pre- and post-sales processes
    • Ensure all post sales queries are dealt with timeously
    • Address all product-related queries on time
    • Train customers to use products effectively
    • Manage SLA processes in order to exceed SLA requirements
    • Managing day-day client relationships
    • Sites inspection and reporting
    • Excellent communication skills and report writing
    • Candidate must be willing to work flexible hours in line with Operational requirements
