    Service Specialist: Technical Fixes And Adjustments

    Role Purpose    

    • Processing of internal and external Investment corrections, as well as technical product support across Investment platforms. Process corrections/adjustments 100% accurately and ensure it is done within prescribed SLA, Corrections/Adjustments are checked by risk, commissions support and finance and the correct process has been followed on Jira, gemstone, BPM, Lighthouse. Participation in Projects/Reporting, Enhancement of Wealth System Active participation in system development and automation projects/reporting Ad Hoc & Continuous Projects/Reporting New & Old.  Monitoring and analysis of data/reporting to optimize processes and way of work.

    The successful candidate may be expected to work hours that align with our international business as well as on some South African public holidays.

    Requirements    

    • Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably Actuarial Sciences or equivelant.
    • Investment management/ statistics /mathematics (advantageous).
    • Minimum of four years relevant investment administration experience.
    • Extensive product - and tax impact knowledge essential.
    • Microsoft Office / Excel (advanced) / Word, Outlook, PowerPoint (intermediate).

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Operational | Day-to-day legendary service delivery | 80% of time focus | Enable legendary service delivery of the highest quality within your area of responsibility

    With us it is personal and so we will require you to:

    • Receiving, investigating, and correcting errors on individual investments or on bulk level (unit adjustments, tax calculations, rebalancing and restructuring of multi-manager funds, price corrections and commission corrections).
    • Effective and efficient communication of analysis, to relevant stakeholders.
    • Complete monthly root cause analysis for distribution to relevant stakeholders.
    • Collaboration between administration platforms, product development teams and IT to make sure that recurring errors are addressed.
    • Evaluation of current process and suggestions on process efficiencies in line with business objectives.
    • Collaboration within the technical team to ensure that all requests are effectively resolved within service level agreements.
    • Transferring of and assisting with technical knowledge within the technical team and key role players (Marketing, Legal, Learning and Development, Tax, etc.).
    • Process all daily tasks accurately and within the agreed SLA (Alterations, Service Queries, Broker License Queries, General system Queries & Processes Documentation) Support Teams in Problem Solving and Resolve Queries (Escalations, Operational Support, Commissions Support, Technical Team & Corrections, Wealth Service & Other Product Houses for Clients or Brokers who have Wealth Contracts (STI, Investo, Myriad & Annuities).
    • Systems & Projects (Strategic Objectives).
    • Participation in Projects, Enhancement of Wealth System Active participation in system development and automation projects Ad Hoc & Continuous Projects New & Old (Monthly P&L Incidents Report & Escalations, Fees, Corrections/Fixes, Adjustments).
    • Process (Operational Objectives).
