Minimum Requirements:

• Matric
• 2+ years of store/ warehouse experience
• Experience in a leadership position
• Stocktake experience
• MS Proficient

Duties:

• Overseeing store staff and assigning and supervising daily tasks.
• Ensuring staff conduct daily cycle counts, checking and resolving queries, and informing inventory manager
• Being well organized and focused on service delivery.
• Generating delivery notes against the relevant accounts
• Ensuring all stock is stored according to the SAP part no.
• Always maintaining effective stock control.
• Liaising with management to ensure minimum and maximum stock thresholds are always maintained – including buffer stock and additional spares for refurbishment.
• Preparing stores for bi-annual stock take and supervising the stock take process.
• Collating all stock-take results and forwarding them to the inventory manager for checking.
• Always following the FIFO system.
• Always ensure good housekeeping and address housekeeping reports issued by the inventory manager.
• Reporting any shortages or low stock levels to the buyer and inventory manager.
• Ensuring that Health and Safety rules are adhered to.
• Ensuring store staff capture, pack, and store stock correctly and timeously.
• Ensuring all paperwork is captured correctly and timeously onto the system.
• Liaising with the quality department regarding non-conformances affecting  stock items
• Working unsupervised and meeting set deadlines
• Ensuring procedures are updated and followed by store staff
• Attending weekly store meetings
