    Senior Program Manager , Retail

    You will be a key leader and influence how we expand to new countries and how we successfully manage new and emerging countries. You will create and shape global launch strategies through building cross-functional alignment with International Consumer leadership, as well as local business and product teams.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Identify opportunities for global efficiencies, create and launch programs around those opportunities
    • Define, understand and advocate for the consumer; develop a complete understanding of the customer needs, advocate for and drive delivery of features that provide customers with an unparalleled shopping experience
    • Evaluate existing local free cash flow and customer experience programs, identify opportunities for global scaling, and drive program launch and adoption
    • Determine metrics to evaluate and track program efficiency
    • Work with business, production, and tech teams worldwide to ensure alignment and maximize synergies
    • Lead other special projects as needed

    About The Team

    The International Expansions team launches new Amazon stores worldwide and accelerates growth in newly launched countries. We strive to provide a localized shopping experience so customers around the world can access local and global products.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
    • 5+ years of experience in program management, channel management, or marketing management

    Preferred Qualifications

    • MBA or Master’s Degree
    • Retail vendor, instock, or marketing management experience
    • Demonstrated track record of delivering results in an ambiguous environment
    • Ability to effectively manage relationships at senior levels (VP+)
    • Demonstrated history in creative/big thinking
    • Analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up actions
    • Demonstrated communication capabilities with cross-functional stakeholders in both business and tech functions
    • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent
