Senior Manager Grids (Apollo & Works Planning and Centralised Services – (WPCS) Transmission (Internal only) at Eskom Communications

Area of Speacialization : Reporting to the General Manager Grids, the Senior Manager Grids (Apollo & WPCS) will be responsible to provide strategic leadership and direction to the Grid and other resources for the safe, secure, and reliable maintenance, operating and restorations

Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):  

• B Degree in Electrical Engineering at a NQF level 7 with 360 credits
• B-Tech in Electrical Engineering at a NQF 7 level with 360 credits

Experience:

• 10 Years extensive experience in Power Systems in general, preferably within the wires environment (i.e., Tx and Dx)
• Knowledge and/or understanding of HVDC Systems.

• Provide direction and leadership to ensure strategic and operational performance of the Grid.
• Provide strategic technical leadership of the wires business in the Grid.

• Drive the Safety and the Environment practices within the Grid.
• Provide strategic leadership and direction to Projects.
• Establish internal and external stakeholder relationship management.
• Provide strategic management of the Grid Business Area.
