Senior Lecturer - Department of Accounting at University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lecturing at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level;
• Supervising postgraduate students;
• Scientific research and publications in accredited academic journals; and
• Academic service, administration and management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant professional qualification with a relevant Master’s degree or a relevant doctorate;
• Demonstrated teaching competence;
• Evidence of publications in accredited journals / other peer-reviewed scholarly outlets or relevant industry experience; and
• Evidence of successful supervision of Master’s students to completion or relevant industry experience.

• Appropriate language and communication skills;
• Digital acumen;
• Ability to effectively function in a team.
• Appropriate teaching skills; and
