    Senior Business Payments Engineer

    Your key responsibilities

    As a Senior Manager, you’re likely to spend most of your time on operational and technical aspects of client business. You will manage and lead client engagement teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment and provide constructive on-the-job feedback/coaching to team members. You will be at the center of the engagement driving work while maintaining close ties with the client. This requires developing an in-depth understanding of our clients’ unique needs and goals to effectively lead a workstream while delivering meaningful improvement insights. A manager will drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.

    You will be an active member in providing counselling and mentoring to junior consultants within the organization. Additionally, there will be multiple opportunities to build the practice through developing public facing materials that provide the market your consulting perspective on emerging opportunities in the payments space.

    To qualify for the role, you must have

    • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in payments environment in banking and financial institution or an industry software vendor company.
    • Must have financial services experience as a Business Analyst (data, process and business analysis).
    • Must have minimum of 7+ years’ worth of payments-related delivery experience.
    • Client facing service experience required. Engagement across stakeholders and ability to run information gathering sessions
    • Experience in Payments Software implementation and support.
    • Experience with various project management disciplines preferred
    • A working knowledge of all payments processes both local and domestic including:
    • Swift
    • RTGS
    • ISO8583
    • ISO20022
    • Master / Visa Issuing & Acquiring
    • Multiple process notations (BPMN 2.0; Enterprise Architecture; Enterprise-Driven Process Chains - epc). Level 1 – 4 process experience
    • Business Writing Skills (business cases, respective BA artefacts)
    • Presentation and Facilitation Skills
    • Data Modelling (ERDs, DFDs, Use Cases)
    • System Development Life Cycle (Waterfall, Agile)
    • Quality Assurance and Risk Management

    Ideally, you’ll also have

    • PASA Certificate in Foundational Payments
    • Visa / MasterCard Certifications
    • Experience with Payment Solution Vendors
    • Crypto currencies
    • NFT
    • Blockchain
