THE TOP PRIORITIES OF THE ROLE ARE:
Drive targets through sales management across the region to ensure the region achieves its targets
People Management: training, mentoring, coaching, and management of staff within the region.
- Communicate and drive daily operations of the region
- Manage, lead, motivate, develop, and empower branch managers to manage their stores in line with their KPIs
- Managing all human-resource-related issues in line with company P&P
Manage and ensure excellent customer service at each customer touchpoint in line with our Bed King 5 Point Promise and company P&P
Manage and ensure marketing activities and guidelines are implemented and maximized at the store level
- Ensure housekeeping, product display, and store experience are in line with company guidelines and directives.
- Ensure Stock losses are minimized through compliance with security measures, stock, and cash handling procedures
Manage stock efficiencies within budget
- Proactively look out for new business opportunities within the region in line with HQ directives (new store opportunities, product development, marketing initiatives, etc.)

THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE ARE:
- Grade12/Matric Certificate with a business administration or management-related tertiary qualification would be an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years Sales Management experience in a region (preferably in the furniture/mattress retail industry)
- Computer Literate (MS Office) and technology savvy - ability to learn new programmes and systems quickly
- Valid drivers licence, Own vehicle, ability to travel AND Willing to work the following hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5pm / Saturdays 9 - 3pm ; Sundays and Public Holidays: Off (might need to relieve in urgent cases)
- A record of Strong Management and Leadership abilities and reaching profit and growth targets in a retail environment
- Based in Johanessburg or Pretoria
