Qualifications

• Advanced Degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Biochemistry, Agricultural Science, or related fields

Experience

• Proven experience (5+ years) in agricultural R&D research and management, focusing on biostimulant and chemical fertilizer development research.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team of researchers.

Duties

• Develop and implement R&D strategies aligned with Omnia Group's strategic direction and business goals.
• Develop and manage the R&D budget effectively, allocating resources efficiently.
• Manage multiple research projects concurrently, lead the formulation of short-term and long-term research plans to enhance product portfolio, focusing on biological product expansion ensuring scientific methodology is followed and timelines and budgets are adhered to.
• Coordinate and develop cross-functional teams including scientists, chemists, engineers, biotechnologists, analysts, and technicians.
• Foster collaborations with internal divisions and external research institutions, universities, and industry partners to leverage expertise and resources.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements
• Monitor team metrics and objectives to ensure the meeting of goals
• Document all phases of research and development
