    Promoter - VCNC - Nelspruit

    Job Description

    This position is based in George

    The primary function of the Promoter is to increase sales, TNPS and brand awareness by promoting Vodacom’s products and services. The ideal candidate can showcase Vodacom offerings in a compelling way. It is essential that our promoters are both personable and professional. This position works four days a week, Thursday – Sunday.

    Qualifications

    • Matric or NQF equivalent
    • 1 years’ experience in a sales role, with demonstrated ability to achieve targets for at least 6 months
    • 1 years’ experience in field services, retail sales or similar role may be beneficial
    • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
    • Understanding cost benefit and needs analysis to meet customer needs
    • Accustomed to using mobile tools and applications
    • Experience with managing technical equipment
    • A desire and ability to make sales
    • Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism

    Additional Information

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets through successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics
    • Analyze and interpret territory action plans (briefs) and adjust sales techniques accordingly to mere stated outcomes.
    • Work proactively towards increasing the outlets overall TNPS performance.

    SALES:

    • Achieve agreed upon sales & TNPS targets and outcomes within agreed timeframes
    • Generate leads and negotiate contracts with prospective clients
    • Conduct sales demonstrations to prospective clients
    • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing initiatives
    • Analyze the store’s potential, track sales and provide status reports where required
    • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
    • Utilize word-of-mouth marketing techniques to attract consumers
    • Establish a presence in store through networking

    Reporting:

    • Report and provide feedback to management on daily activity as directed
    • Log attendance on specified reporting tool; checking in and out at the prescribed times
    • Attend meetings & trainings as directed to keep abreast of latest developments
    • Provide market intelligence and business insights as observed within the store
    • Report any challenges and/or issues to line management as soon as possible

    Stakeholder Management:

    • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
    • Respond to customer needs and requirements
    • Deliver customer services in a courteous manner
    • Ensure delivery of products to customers in a timely manner
    • Implement best practices in sales and service activities
    • Provide ongoing education on all products and services
    • Expedite resolution of customer complaints and monitor customer feedback
    • Network and build trusting relationships with potential customers

    Operational Excellence:

    • Ensure compliance with all processes, policies and procedures (internal & external)
    • Adhere to all principles which drive Net Promoter Scoring
    • Adhere to Health & Safety protocols
