Key Purpose

• Implementation of product and pricing rules.
• Ensure all processes involving pricing is specified and run as expected.
• Identify anomalies on system and recommend corrective action. 
• Provide premium and product related support to business.

The role includes both personal lines and commercial.

Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

• Weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual system release and project management
• Support of operations through QC management
• Test and sign off of Product and Pricing integrity
• Test and co-ordinate anniversary for personal lines as well as commercial
• Testing of cashback data for every month’s run, as well as run and release Young Adult Benefit (YAB) payments
• Ensure production support Service Level Agreement (SLA) is met
• Updating system with correct M&M data
• Updating mobile devices data
• Validations testing, signing off and maintenance testing to ensure it works correctly.

Qualification

• Matric (Essential)
• BSc degree in Mathematics/Computer Science/Financial Science or Statistics (Advantageous)

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year’s analysis (testing and/or analysis for product or business) experience within insurance industry. (Essential)
• Minimum 1 year’s Short Term Insurance product development experience (Advantageous)
• Minimum of 1 year’s SQL intermediate experience (Advantageous)
