Process Engineer at Unique Personnel

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:

• Matric / Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
• Degree / B. Tech / National Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical or Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office and MS Projects (Advance MS Office)
• Valid driver’s license

Minimum Experience:

• 3 years’ experience in Minerals Processing Plants
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and related.
• Knowledge of general contracts processes, procedures and systems

Key Tasks:

• Support the Branch manager to execute on the territorial sales’ strategic objectives
• Conduct sales calls and deliver impactful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
• Effectively match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions
• Effectively communicate client needs to the product specialist teams for future product enhancements
• Look for brownfields and solution driven opportunities for all products on various sites
• Travel extensively in region to sell into new prospects as well as farming back into existing customers
• Work with Quotation/Application engineer to assess RFPs/RFIs/RFQs product design and all technical aspects of the quotations and tenders
• Work with drafts people to develop accurate GA and components drawings
• Work with product manager and administration officer to ensure correctness of customers’ orders
• Liaise with customers to provide on time provision of quotations, technical data, drawings and relevant information and provide quotations to customers within a reasonable period
• Provide weekly and monthly updates and reports on input, sales and delivery performance
• Work with relevant manufacturing personnel to improve product quality, productivity and performance
• Gather market intelligence on customers, competitors, market to help develop markets, sales strategy and support accurate forecasting.
• Product presentations to customers and conduct onsite audits
• Commissioning assistance on large projects
• Managing process workflow and projects from branch level.
• Seek opportunities to offer condition monitoring of equipment
• Full technical support to Sales Engineers, Field Service and to customers to grow brownfields where applicable.
• Offer technical support to customers, including site visits, trouble shooting and proving complete solution.
• Adhere to EHS and Housekeeping requirements at the branch and customer sites
• Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times
