    Principal Technical Assistant - Design and Development (3 positions)

    Requirements

    • Minimum of Grade 12
    • Telecommunication technology and planning related short course certificates (advantageous),
    • Three (3)+ years’ experience in Telecommunication Infrastructure plan and build support function, material forecast and stock level management
    • Proven ability to work under pressure in a critical technical environment
    • Valid driver’s licence,
    • Own vehicle advantageous

    Key Performance Areas

    • Provide technical assistance in coordinating the technical functions and tasks in the material management process (including assets verification, equipment type approval and codification)
    • Assist the master planners with compiling scopes and the programme and equipment allocation
    • Conducts technical site inspections Coordinate material type approval.
