Portfolio Manager CSI & CSR at Ovations Technologies

Job Purpose:

• To lead the delivery and implementation of a comprehensive Corporate Social Investment (CSI) strategy focused on the Green Economy, aligning with the organization's vision and purpose. This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in Corporate Social Investment (CSI), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and key sectors such as agriculture, water, waste, and energy. The successful candidate will possess strong financial acumen, operational management experience, and the ability to assess and execute strategic initiatives. This position demands a strategic thinker with leadership capabilities to drive impactful, benchmarked CSI programs.

Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:

• Lead the development and implementation of the organization's CSI strategy, particularly in the Green Economy sector.
• Align various CSI initiatives within the organization to a unified strategic purpose.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Consult and engage with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize needs, select projects, and ensure strategic alignment.
• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including NGOs, government entities, and corporate partners.

Project Management:

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of CSI projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and successful achievement of project goals.
• Manage the portfolio's operations and budget to ensure financial discipline and positive ROI.

Governance and Compliance:

• Promote and champion governance requirements within Corporate Social Responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies related to CSI activities.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Monitor and report on the performance of CSI initiatives, providing feedback to relevant stakeholders.
• Identify areas for improvement by reviewing CSI policies, procedures, guidelines, and industry trends.

Continuous Improvement:

• Seek opportunities to enhance business processes and systems, adding value through innovative approaches to CSI.
• Lead change interventions to ensure the successful implementation of CSI projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

• Matric and relevant qualification 
• 5 years of experience in Corporate Social Investment (CSI) or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with a focus on the Green Economy.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale projects in sectors such as agriculture, water, waste, and energy.
• Extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, particularly with NGOs, government bodies, and corporate partners.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and executing strategic initiatives that align with business objectives.
