Purpose of the Job    

• To systematically develop plans (Meat Matrix) in order to strategically optimise the capacities and high demands from the business, in co-ordination with the Meat Processing Plant Operations. This role plays a criticial role in the operations to ensure optimal customer service.

Job Objectives    

• Master planning schedule in the Meat Processing Plant
• Inbound & Outbound planning
• Manage space availability / capacity between Meat Processing Plant to enable implementation of operational plans
• Manage Meat Processing Plant space in terms of efficiency (space utilisation) and productivity
• Manage Planning related aspects pertaining to supermarket operations
• Labour planning forecasting models to Operations
• In-bound bookings forecasting models to Operations
• Manage alignment between Transport and Meat Processing Plant operating cycle
• Resolve planning related Branch queries 
• Daily extracting plans
• Operational work planning, priority setting and scheduling
• Operational performance monitoring People and enabling capacity management / Resourcing
• Input into structures & roles
• Process improvement, process policies, procedures and performance standards
• Managed interfaces
• Resolve escalated operational issues
• Change management

Qualifications   

• Relevant degree in Logistics / Engineering / Statistics

Experience    

• 1-2 Years Experience Meat Processing Plant Experience

Knowledge and Skills    

• Working knowledge of Meat Matrix system (or other warehouse management systems)
