    Organisational Effectiveness Specialist - Talent

    MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

    • To partner with the business to provide learning and organisational development services and solutions, in line with key business strategies and initiatives, in order to advance organisational competence and transform the culture within the organisation.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

    • Design, develop and enable the implementation of assigned (Organisational Development) processes and programmes - Succession Management
    • Provide job design and OD services to the business for allocated function (s) and region
    • Design, implement and measure assigned organisational and functional projects and initiatives in support of talent development processes and the establishment of talent pipelines (both internal and external)
    • Design, implement and measure initiatives to support accelerated development for identified individuals/ successors
    • Design and implement a framework for career path development for MCSA employees

    REQUIRED EDUCATION

    Essential:

    • Relevant Honours degree in human resources, industrial/ organisational psychology, education

    Desired:

    • Relevant Masters’ degree in human resources, industrial/ organisational psychology, education
    • Coaching qualification or certification (COMENSA/ ICF)

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

    Essential:

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Specialist in OD and L&D

    Desired:

    • Experienced in delivering impact through career and talent development processes and initiatives

    Experience with BBBEE Skills Development Scorecard analysis and strategy creation

    Expertise in learning design and strategies

    REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

    • Organisation behaviour and organisational development
    • Organisational development methodologies and practice
    • Change leadership and change management
    • Provision of coaching
    • Learning and development theories and pedagogical approaches
    • Leadership development theories and approaches
    • Knowledge of and experienced in working with the BBBEE legislation, SD scorecard analysis and interpretation
    • Knowledge of and experienced in Skills Development, Education and Training & Development legislation and SETA requirements
    • Team and conflict facilitation skills
    • Writing and presentation skills
    • Research skills
    • Managing learning and OD campaigns and projects
