Ops Spec: Software Develop Coordination at BCX

Core Description

• Coordinate and control the development sprint planning for the application releases in the next project cycle. Assign development cases and control the life cycle of the case from start to completion. Work closely with developers, business analyst and testers to complete the next sprint cycle assigned to a project.

Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

• Assign tools for managing the programme cycle with simple, clean & re-usable codes.
• Coordinate developed codes for extensive test coverage, perform continuous deployment in a professional software engineering environment.
• Work on various platforms with different programming languages and support the production cluster management system.
• Participate in the processes of strategic project-planning meetings.
• Create and share the operational requirements and development forecasts to allow for timely and accurate planning of projects.
• Responsible to assist with all stages of test data and ensure full script maintenance and updates are performed in a timely manner
• Identify and assist to build automated deployments using configuration management technology. Deploy new modules and upgrades in the test environment.
• Ensure modules are ready for production, which entails moving them according to specific procedures and documenting knowledge transfer.
• Create requirements and procedures for implementing routine maintenance where required on the test systems

Minimum Qualifications

• NQF 6: 3 year Degree/ Diploma/ National Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science
• OR NQF 4: Grade 12

Additional Education -Preferred /Advantage
Experience

• 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in a QA or test management area with a minimum 2 years in: Azure CI/CD,NET Core Environments, Azure, Pipelines & MySQL
