    Niro Operator

    • In this role you will be responsible to operate the manufacturing line to ensure production plan is full achieved on time and in compliance with legal requirements meeting safety, quality, hygiene, cost, and environment need. Drive continuous improvement through TPM (supply quality powder to filling and packing lines by a process of spray drying and testing as per laid down Standard Operating and testing Procedures).

    A day in the life of a Niro Operator:

    • Prepare the readiness and completeness of the machines and equipment for the production before the operations.
    • Operate the manufacturing line to ensure that finished products are consistently manufactured meeting prescribed standards (compliant), on time and meeting consumer expectations.
    • Keep record of the operation parameters related.
    • Maintain a safe working behavior in compliance with the local laws striving for Zero accidents.
    • Participate in a continuous improvement/ employee involvement culture through NCE approach.
    • To perform recording of process card and monitor process parameters and troubleshoot in case of deviation.
    • Participate in hourly sensory session created and input results through SEMS.
    • Record production and stoppages on Stoppage Analysis Module (SAM).
    • Perform daily checks (magnet, stethoscope and other machine related).
    • Ensure general cleanliness and tidiness of control room and operation areas.
    • Report all abnormalities/ breakdowns through tagging system and inform the Team Leader or engineering.
    • Adhere to safety standards and SOP.
    • Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

    What will make you successful?

    • Matric certificate
    • 3 years’ experience in food manufacturing environment
    • Exposure to implementing continuous improvement and employee involvement techniques. Implementation experience of TPM
