    National Customer Manager: HPC & Confectionery - Midrand

    Job Description

    A career opportunity has arisen in the Sales Department – Premier  – KZN. This position is responsible be to drive growth and profitability by effectively managing key national accounts within the FMCG industry. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to maximise sales, strengthen relationships with customers,and achieve revenue targets.

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.

    Experience Requirements    

    • At least 5 years of experience in National Accounts Management within the FMCG industry, with a focus on HPC and Confectionery.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and driving sales growth.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive strategic decisions.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with sales analysis tools.
    • Knowledge of the FMCG industry, including market dynamics and key trends.

    Key Outputs    

    •  National Accounts Management:Develop and execute effective account plans to grow sales and market share. Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts,negotiating contracts and agreements to drive business success.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer strategies and initiatives.
    • Sales and Revenue Optimisation: Analyse market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activitie to identify growth opportunities. Develop and implement pricing strategies, promotions, and trade marketing programs to maximise sales and profitability.Monitor sales performance, conduct regular business reviews, and propose corrective actions as needed.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration:Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, and finance to align on business objectives and strategies.Provide insights and recommendations to support the development of new products and innovation.
    • Forecasting and Budgeting:Develop accurate sales forecasts, considering market trends, customer requirements, and product performance. Manage budgets effectively, optimising resource allocation and ensuring financial objectives are met.
