    Manager Paid & Owned Digital Media

    Key Performance Objectives

    Agency Management

    • Act as the primary liaison with external agencies and vendors.
    • Ensure agencies are delivering as per the agreed-upon scope of work.
    • Collaborate with external creative and media agencies to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns.
    • Manage agency relationships, including setting expectations, reviewing creative work, and ensuring alignment with Showmax's brand guidelines.
    • Regularly assess agency partners' performance based on predefined KPIs and key metrics.
    • Provide feedback and guidance to agency partners for continuous improvement.

    Campaign Management

    • Lead the day-to-day management and fine-tuning of campaigns.
    • Identify real-time opportunities for campaign adjustments based on market trends.
    • Ensure all campaigns are executed on-time and are consistent with brand guidelines.
    • Work closely with creative teams to bring the campaign visions to life.
    • Ensure all creatives are optimized for specific digital platforms.
    • Conduct detailed analysis on campaign performance at a granular level.
    • Provide regular updates and actionable insights to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager.
    • Develop and implement paid media campaigns on various platforms, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and programmatic advertising.

    Financial Management

    • Monitor the allocation of the paid media budget, ensuring there are no overruns.
    • Optimize budget allocation based on campaign performance.
    • Provide regular budget updates to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager.
    • Ensure that all financial management practices within the digital marketing department adhere to the organization's financial policies and procedures.
    • Estimate the costs associated with various marketing activities, including advertising spend, content creation, software subscriptions, and agency fees.

    Stakeholder Management

    • Work closely with creative teams to bring the campaign visions to life.
    • Ensure all creatives are optimized for specific digital platforms.
    • Drive digital creative excellence by collaborating with creative teams to develop compelling ad creatives that resonate with target audiences.
    • Provide regular updates and reports on the progress and performance of digital marketing initiatives to stakeholders.

    People Management

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of digital marketing professionals.
    • Ensure team members are equipped with the necessary tools and training to succeed.
    • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
    • Approve leave requests for team members and create leave plan to ensure adequate coverage.
    • When required, initiate disciplinary processes for team members calling on support from Human Capital when required.
    • Resolve grievances raised by team members and escalate only if required.
    • Address the poor performance of any team member through the formal Performance Improvement program and ensure that continued poor performance is appropriately dealt with.

    Qualifications Essentials

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

    Experience

    • 3-6 years of proven Paid Digital Marketing Experience
    • Excellent Project Management
    • Effectively Managing 3rd party Vendors and Agencies to deliver additional value for the business
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Strong leadership and team management skills
    • Proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on paid media, preferably in the SVOD or entertainment industry
    • The data-driven mindset with excellent analytical and reporting abilities
    • Experience with marketing tools and analytics platforms is a plus
    • Experience with SQL and Data visualization tools like Tableau and Looker Studio is a plus

    Technical Competencies

    • Project Management. Project management tools; Trello, ClickUp, Phabricator
    • Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Ads, DV360, and social media advertising.
