Manager MI & Reporting(Internal Audit) at Absa

Other responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Oversee and check the quality and timeliness (including planning and scheduling of reviews as necessary) of MI population and distribution to various stakeholders as required
• Maintain a register of the control issues for internal audit including obtaining of the updated list of issues from operational risk and obtaining of the updates from teams as necessary
• Oversee the preparation of the time reporting, discussion of results and implementation of corrective actions with the delivery teams
• Assist with monitoring of delivery by internal audit delivery portfolios, identifying early warnings of non-delivery through Opco MI and sharing this with internal audit management as necessary.
• Provide support and guidance to the teams on MI, including ad-hoc or new joiner training/presentations where necessary.
• Oversee and check the quality and timely preparation, distribution (including planning and scheduling of reviews as necessary) of the ad-hoc, monthly and consolidated reports on behalf of internal audit, including governance reports.
• Manage the maintenance of the databases used to support reporting, including ownership of the applicable records in line with the records management policy
• Co-ordination, reporting and accountability of records management for the team

Education and Experience:

• B.com Degree or relevant
• 5 years internal/external audit
• 5 year experience in data analytics and/or management reporting
