JOB DESCRIPTION

• To provide insights into the establishment and the attainment of the financial objectives of the Business Unit (acting as a Finance Business Partner). Responsible for the full financial function including year-end legal entity requirements, which includes annual financial statement preparation, company tax and monthly financial reporting and month-end processes. Lead the entity's finance team to ensure month end is delivered and all deliverables are met throughout the year. Ensure a clean and healthy financial bill of health for the legal Entity by reviewing and signing off balance sheet recons on monthly basis. Report into the Senior Finance Manager on all activities and processes. Interact with internal and external auditors where necessary. In addition, attend to all regulatory requirements for the legal Entity with regards to the FSCA, SARB and SARS in collaboration with the business. This role requires significant stakeholder engagement and relationship building with business partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications
Type of Qualification: Honour's Degree
Field of Study: Accounting and Finance
Other Minimum Qualifications, Certifications or Professional Memberships: BCom/ BCompt or CA(SA)/CIMA

Experience Required

• Experience in Investments / Asset Management from a Finance perspective will be advantageous
• Annual Financial Statements preparation
• Company Tax Calculations for an Investment Legal Entity
• AUM
