    Machine Operator

    Responsibilities

    Efficiences

    • Ensure line efficiencies
    • Look for blockages
    • Look for leaks at feeding pipes
    • Stir tanks 3xtimes per day and night
    • Report negative deviations
    • Check wheels of tanks
    • Control of temperature
    • Control seconds of dossing tanks
    • Tip tanks for production
    • Working shifts

    Housekeeping

    • Clean as you go
    • Make sure no flaking paints on floors or equipment
    • Make sure equipment is always clean
    • Make sure no syrup on floors

    Health and Safety

    • Wear clothes that was issued to you
    • Wear earplugs
    • Wear gloves
    • Drink water as prescribed (legal requirements)
    • Forklift licence

    Qualifications

    • Matric or NQF 4
    • Mechanical aptitude
    • Communication – written and verbal
    • Problem solving
    • Physical stamina
    • Mental strength
    • Proactivity
    • Interpretation nd analyzing the data to optimize machine reliability
    • Ergonomics
