The IIE Varsity College, Cape Town Campus has a vacancy for a Part-time Lecturer (Independent Contractor)

Minimum Education Requirements:

• Ideal: Masters (NQF level 9) qualification in Criminology and/ or Criminal Justice.
• Minimum Requirement: An Honors or Postgraduate Diploma (NQF level 8 qualification) in Criminology.

Minimum Experience Required:

• Preferably two years lecturing experience in the discipline of Criminology. Work experience ideally in one or other field related to forensic criminology, research, criminologist, forensic analyst, victim empowerment, correctional services, or a qualification in child or youth care and related fields.

Working Conditions:

• Please note that this is an Independent Contractor position
• Positions are part-time, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:30.
• Must reside in Cape Town
• Applicants must be available to lecture for 2 -3 days (business hours) within a week for the duration of the semester.
