Lecturer: Entomology - Alice Campus at University of Fort Hare

Minimum Requirements: 

• A Doctoral degree in Entomology or an associated field.
• Teaching experience at a tertiary institute.
• Research experience supported by either a publication record in DHET-accredited journals, a successful postgraduate supervision record or successful research funding.
• Added Advantage:
• NRF rating

Duties:

• Teach undergraduate and honours courses in Entomology and any other courses assigned to you by the Head of Department.
• Participate in regular recurriculation of modules or programme reviews.
• Develop research within the areas of entomology or associated fields.
• Attract research funding.
• Supervise BSc Honours, MSc and PhD students.
• Participate in community engagement.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of Department.
• The successful candidate will be required to register for a Postgraduate diploma in Higher Education.
