Lecturer: Digital And Academic Literacies (Independent Contractor) at Vega School

Job Purpose:

Lecturer and academic delivery to ensure students are guided and supported in their learning to achieve module outcomes.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• At least a 3-year degree in a Humanities/Social Sciences/Law/Education/Finance/Management field, with one or more of these Majors: English, Communication, Media, Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, Law, Didactics, Management, or Economics. If the campus feels they have a suitable candidate, they may apply to CAT for review.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience lecturing/tutoring in a tertiary institution.
• The candidate must have worked within a tertiary institution so that they understand the tertiary student experience and expectations, to be able to provide the level of academic support and guidance required by this foundational module. ​

Working Conditions:

• Please note that this is an Independent Contractor position
• Positions are part-time, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:30
