    Learning and Development Officer - Human Resource Department

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Collaborate with management to identify training needs.
    • Monitor and support Personal Development Plans (PDP) submissions and implementation.
    • Recommend new training approaches and techniques.
    • Build business partnerships with various units.
    • Conduct international benchmarking research.
    • Plan, develop, and provide Induction Training Programs.
    • Manage content and communication for the Induction Program.
    • Measure the impact of the Induction Program.
    • Schedule online learning and convert historical learner material.
    • Draft training Request for Quotations (RFQs). 
    • Monitor training results and statistics.
    • Liaise with facilitators and maintain e-learning content.
    • Maintain and implement the annual training calendar.
    • Update the course catalogue and manage training schedules.
    • Collaborate with facilitators to plan training sessions.
    • Monitor and report on training projects.
    • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) 
    • Maintain Learning and Development Committee.
    • Compile and update statistical information on training.
    • Analyse and report on training evaluations and PDP data.
    • Support the development and submission of the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Training Report.
    • Prepare reports on training interventions and projects.

    • The candidate must demonstrate the following skills: Analytical thinking, excellent verbal, and written communication skills. collaboration, problem solving, creative thinking and design skills, planning and organisational skills.

    Requirements

    • A National Diploma or NQF 6 equivalent qualification with 3 to 5 years of experience in the Human Resources field. Knowledge of Learning Management System (LMS). Experience and knowledge of e-learning. Understanding of Skills Development Legislation and South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
