    Learning and Development Manager

    • The incumbent in this role will be responsible for ensuring that the Company’s current and future skills requirements are met by putting together a strategy, annual action plan, policies, systems and processes to meet these requirements.

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Driving the compilation of the Learning and Development Strategy that is aligned to the HR and Operational Strategies.
    • Setting all Policies and procedures related to learning and development.
    • In consultation with Discipline Development Committees and Subject Matter Experts, ensuring that processes are in place to identify skills gaps and putting in place programs to close the gaps, and monitoring the effectiveness of such programs.
    • Leading various organisational development programs to drive role clarification, employee productivity and performance management.
    • Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and that sufficient resources are in place to deliver on these requirements.
    • Monitoring trends and implementing best practice and learnings as relevant.

    About you:

    To be considered for this role, you will meet the following minimum requirements:

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources/Human Resources Development or Social Sciences.
    • A Business qualification will be an added advantage.

    Minimum Experience

    • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Human Resources or Learning and Development at a D-Band level.
    • Understanding of legislative requirements as they relate to Learning and Development and the Mining Industry.
    • Mining Industry experience will be an added advantage.
